Based in Brighton, Audio Active is a ground-breaking music organisation, that works with young people at the meeting point of technology and contemporary urban culture. They believe society is too often down on young people, and that those in challenging circumstances rarely get a chance to shine.
Audio Active pride themselves on working with young people as artists, regardless of their starting point, supporting them to become part of a wider scene. They work with young people over long periods of time across multiple settings.
Funds from the CBF are being used to support Kustom Vibes, a monthly night with performances from young musicians involved in all Audio Active projects, alongside their tutors and up and coming acts with a connection to the organisation. It’s open to all-ages and is free for young people to attend and perform at.
